Baby's First Christmas

Although we had planned to have Joe come up to Tennessee in December to celebrate Christmas with Mom and Dad, Will and I ended up coming home after a visit in mid-December that went long after a bad snow and ice storm kept us stuck in Tennessee. So, like the troopers they are Mom and Dad made the 6+ hour drive out to see us in Charlotte to have Christmas together.

Playtime with Mommy

If you haven't already figured it out by now, I LOVE playing with my son. He's definitely going to be a Momma's boy!

First Visit to Opa and Oma's House

In mid-December, Will and I drove out to Tennessee to stay with Oma and Opa Mulvaney while Joe was gone several days on business. Unfortunately, we ended up staying longer than planned due to a bad snow and ice storm that made the roads dangerous through the mountains between Tennessee and Charlotte. Oma and Opa made the most of the extended visit, however, staying up with Will at night, feeding and changing him, and giving him his baths so that I could get some much needed and deserved sleep. Will's first visit to Oma and Opa's house was a blast!

A Dog's Life . . .

Needless to say, but the dogs have had to make some adjustments to no longer being the center of attention at our house. Cupid was won over immediately by Will, but Brandy took a little while longer to warm up to him. Now, both dogs watch over Will, but it's a tough job. :-)

5 Weeks Old

Will is starting to learn how to hold his own bottle. What a little helper!

Sweet Sleeper

Really, is there anything sweeter than a sleeping baby?

One of My Favorite Things. . .

When Will stretches like this, he also makes a little mouse sound. We call him "Mousey Mouse" when he does this.

Daddy Changes Will's Outfit

My poor son may never know who his father is if Joe continues to throw so many different accents at him! :-)

Proud Mama

Do you have any idea how hard it is to take a picture of yourself and a newborn? Well, take it from me it's not easy! It was very enjoyable, though, to have to continually snuggle up to a sweet-smelling and soft-skinned little boy.

Daddy Joe's 36th Birthday!

The second weekend after Will was born Dennis, Carol, Jenny, David, and Charlie drove down to visit and celebrate Daddy Joe's 36th birthday! We had pizza and sodas and afterwards some homemade lemon cake and ice cream.

Charlie wasn't sure what to think of his new cousin, Will.
